The seed of the business was sown almost 40 years back when Mr. Rambhai Patel started observing various chemical processes in the factories around. His curiosity to learn those process and chemicals in detail became the strongest fuel to the idea of entering in to treading of such chemicals at a small scale.

With a few thousands as the turnover of initial years, Mr. Patel nurtured his vision and passion for growth to build a big-size business. Soon he started manufacturing of Sodium Silicate and since then there was never looking back. A crystal clear understanding of the market demand, desire to learn and a dedicated human capital helped creating a strong foundation of Sahajanand Industries Limited in spite of many challenges.

Very soon he recognised that it is only innovation and newness in product and process that can make you industry leader, he started investing in process and product excellence at a very early stage of starting the manufacturing business. Along with strong business acumen, he constantly improved the production and optimized the cost factor to make the business sustainable and profitable as the next move.

As the time progressed and business flourished, the next generation was ready to join the business after taking best education from renowned institutes. New generation brought new ideas and business techniques that took the company from one manufacturing unit to five manufacturing plants with infrastructural excellence.

Today the company is leading a significant market share in domestic and international business with more than 90% returning clients.
